Founded by Maria Turk in 2007, the agency started with community-focused help for Medicaid and Medicare enrollees. Today, our team has grown to include over 25 licensed insurance agents serving clients across Winter Park, Orlando, and beyond.

Meet Maria Turk

Founder, Licensed Agent & Community Advocate

Maria Turk founded Living Tree Financial Group in 2007 with one mission in mind: to help people make confident decisions about their healthcare coverage without feeling overwhelmed or forgotten. What began as one person assisting neighbors with Medicaid and Medicare applications has grown into a multi-state insurance agency built on empathy, clarity, and year-round service.


With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, Maria remains actively involved in helping clients across Winter Park, Orlando, and Central Florida. She’s AHIP-certified, state-licensed, and passionate about educating others—often hosting local Medicare 101 seminars and supporting community outreach initiatives.


What truly sets Maria apart isn’t just her credentials—it’s her commitment to relationships. Whether she’s walking someone through their first Medicare plan or following up months later to help with a billing issue, her philosophy is simple: “Be the person you’d want to call when you’re confused, frustrated, or just need someone to listen.”
